Keeping on track

Friday’s schedule called for a rest day and I had no problem meeting that goal. After a week of getting back in to the groove my legs started to feel it and the rest day is just what the doctor ordered. On Friday night for some reason I started to get almost bit anxious about running 12 miles and am not sure why, maybe because it is my longest in since just after Thanksgiving which I ran 22. Odd feeling though – I run that distance in my sleep during peak training. None the less this morning’s run went off without a hitch and enjoyed catching up with friends under the Stillwater dome. I felt great with some slight tenderness to the right knee and ended up running 13.1.
